Sweet Tarts

Basic Tart


  • 2.5 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 4 tsp Butter
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp Powdered Sugar
  • Chilled water

How To Make?

  •  Sift Flour, Salt, Sugar in a bowl.
  •  Add Butter to it.
  •  Mix well until entire Flour is well coated with Butter.
  •  With just a little bit of chilled water, knead a tight dough.
  •  Keep it in the fridge for 10 minutes and meanwhile grease your mould.
  •  Now roll an even sheet of the dough of approximately 1/2 cm thick and spread it on the greased mould.
  •  Trim off the excess dough.
  •  Now place a Butter Paper/Foil on the base of your unbaked tart and spread a generous amount of Kideny Beans/Chickpeas/Raw Rice.
  •  Bake it for 10 minutes at 170°C
  •  Once half-baked, take out the beans with utmost delicacy .
  •  Now bake it again for 6-8 minutes until golden brown .

Fill some heavy beans on the tart dough like this so that they don’t fluff up

Fresh Fruit Tart


  • ½ Cup Any Chocolate (preferable White)
  • ¼ Cup Fresh Cream
  • Fruits like Mango, Pineapple, Apple Kiwi
  • Sugar
  • Water

How To Make?

• Take the Chocolate and melt with Cream in a microwave.
 • Let the mixture chill for an hour.
 • Meanwhile, chop the Fruits.
 • Make a Sugar Syrup with the help of boiling Sugar and Water together.
 • Now coat your fruits with the sugar syrup.
 • Take the Ganache (Chocolate Mixture) and pipe in the tart shell.
 • Top it up with fruits and sprinklers and serve.

Chocolate & Almonds Tart


  • ½ Cup Dark chocolate
  • ¼ Cup Cream
  • Salt
  • Almonds

How To Make?

 • Melt Dark Chocolate and Cream together.
 • Add a pinch of Salt.
 • Roast some finely sliced Almonds and add half of them in the Chocolate Mixture.
 • Now pipe this mix in a pre-baked tart.
 • Decorate with Roasted Almonds.
